not bad, hassle free upload experience plus you get to share your stuff the way you want to.
Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Singapore Rocks!!

All those talk about "Did you ask for permission to use other people's video?" is really hindering the progress of adoption of ICT in learning and teaching.

So i share my own stuff to give universal access to human knowledge.

Tracker Free Video Modeling for Physics Education by Douglas Brown & Youtube PD by lookang

part 2/2 for the series of professional sharing. Enjoy!

Video modeling is a powerful new way to combine videos with computer modeling--and only Tracker can do it!
Use to analyze or model your own video experiments.

Tracker Free Video Analysis for Physics Education by Douglas Brown & Youtube PD by lookang

Why make this video? it is for helping teacher friends to professional develop themselves with use of this ICT tool. Of course, this is all informal collaboration, to translate meaningful ICT practices in schools.

formally, it also fulfill Masterplan for ICT in Education 3

  • strengthen competencies for self-directed learning.
  • tailor learning experiences according to the way that each student learns best.
  • encourage students to go deeper and advance their learning.
  • learn anywhere.

Ejs Talk by lookang

Found a picture of lookang talking about the Easy Java Simulation Authoring and Modeling Tool suited for Physics Education during 1-3 June 2009 Singapore NIE. 3rd redesigning pedagogy.

My reflection:
As a result of this sharing, no one has the "drive" to be agents of change for Easy Java Simulation tool. Perhaps there are too many reasons for inaction or lot of other actions with little lasting impact on the world.

My analysis:
A close friend shared that his school environment ( or maybe the larger system, society perhaps) does not encourage small project ( not driven by your workplace directly as a KPI), want to do only high profile projects ( look around, do you get my drift?)

My insights:
The reason is .................... performance aprissal of the teachers!
Every teacher or person wants to be recognised and thus need to strategize what project to be leaders in, for better rankings and ratings and raise up the ladder in the organization.

My conclusion:
I will continue to make Easy java simulations because i would like to make physics learning meaningful.

My comment:
Why can't teachers or educators do what is the best for public good and number 1 for the world (selflessly motivated), and not number 1 education hub of the world (self centred motives) ?

My answer:
It is damn difficult to be selflessly motivated, especially if you want to survive well, get promoted and stuff. That's why!

 My question:
Have you impact the world and I don't mean just your immediate workplace for your bosses :)
